Weekly Report 11: I Need to Move Quicker

I must admit, over the last couple of weeks I have felt like I am simply researching and researching without really having much to show for it. Each article I read begs 3 more to understand its contents. But, at last, I see more clarity in the future of my final product. I am pondering on if I can utilize artificial intelligence to make it an interactive quiz or chat bot instead of simply a poster or diagram. I will need to connect with my fellow ISM students in the technology realm to make that happen.

Furthermore, I have some exciting news to share because outside of ISM, my roleplay partner and I have qualified to the international competition for DECA, a business club I am in. The skills I am gaining from this activity work well with my ISM goals, since they foster collaboration, connecting with others, and quick-thinking to solve business problems. I am very grateful for this opportunity. 

With Mr. Vargas, I have continued to visit his classes to help him with building course materials, like how to write or complete certain portions of the AP exam, and to speak with his students, answering content or general questions. I do enjoy acting as a teacher’s aide. Looking to my other mentor, Ms. Neha Jain, I have a mentor meeting planned with her for this Wednesday so I look forward to getting her input on some of the work I’ve done on my guide as well as some casing practice I have conducted. I’m so excited to see what the rest of this semester in ISM brings; final presentation night is just under 2 months away.
