These past two weeks have been incredibly busy for me, but within ISM, I have made some progress on my final product. I have put together what I believe to be the most important information to include in my “Ultimate Guide to Management Consulting” with skills, qualities, job descriptions, current activities to set up for success, and recruitment pathways. I have not yet had a chance to put it into Canva and make it visually appealing, however, I am looking forward to getting some feedback at the Campus Showcase and from my mentor. Also, my mentor gave me feedback on my website, saying that it looked professional and well-created, but she would like to see more personal aspects of my life outside of school and future career goals. I have not updated this yet, but it is something that I plan on adding the next time I adjust my website.
Outside of ISM, I have been quite preoccupied with the SAT, BPA, and DECA. I did not end up qualifying for the next level in BPA and DECA because of which I was feeling pretty disappointed this past week. I had put in a lot of work for both of my events, and, while I learned a lot, it was frustrating to not receive recognition. With that came the important life lesson that learning is more beneficial than winning, but it is much easier said than done. Besides that, I am happy to have updated my display board and excited to chat with some more people about what I have been working on this semester in ISM.
